GOVERNANCE AND STANDARDS

Data governance and system integration

Naming, retention, access and integration defined so data survives a vendor change or plant sale.

01WHAT WE MONITOR

Plant data outlives the systems that hold it and the vendors that supply them. A group that cannot export its own history is one contract renewal away from losing ten years of it.

We define naming, retention, access control and integration across plant systems so data survives a vendor change, a plant sale or an acquisition. Interfaces are built on documented protocols rather than on a vendor's convenience.

Retention deserves more thought than it usually gets: process data has regulatory minimums, commercial value beyond them, and storage cost against both. Keeping everything forever is a decision, not a default.

02HOW WE ENGAGE
Nothing here is sold from a shelf

Two plants running the same process need different instrumentation, so we survey before we specify and specify before we price. Tell us about the facility and we will come back with a scope stating what is supplied and where our responsibility ends.
