Power and energy

Performance, condition and emission monitoring across generation, transmission and distribution assets.

01WHAT WE DO HERE

Power assets are judged on two numbers: availability and efficiency. Both degrade quietly. A heat rate drifts, a bearing develops a signature, a solar string underperforms its neighbours, and none of it announces itself until the monthly reconciliation.

NTHRYS instruments generation and network assets so that degradation is visible while it is still small. Rotating equipment condition monitoring across turbines, generators, pumps and fans. Thermal and combustion monitoring where efficiency is decided. Substation asset diagnostics including partial discharge and thermal imaging. Emission monitoring where regulatory reporting is mandatory and continuous.

Renewable assets have a distinct problem: they are distributed, unmanned and numerous. String level performance deviation, soiling loss and thermal hot spots across a plant nobody visits daily is exactly the sort of thing a monitoring layer exists to solve.

We work with thermal, gas, hydro, nuclear, solar, wind, biomass and waste to energy generation, with captive and cogeneration plants, and with transmission and distribution networks including metering and loss reduction programmes.
