Ambient monitoring answers a different question from stack monitoring: not what a plant emits, but what people around it breathe. It is what a community complaint, a consent boundary condition or an expansion approval turns on.
We deploy continuous analysers or campaign based sampling depending on the question, at boundary locations chosen for the prevailing wind rather than for convenience. Results are reported against the applicable standards with meteorological data alongside, because a reading without wind direction cannot be attributed to anything.
